The videos in the OP are really well done -- I've learned a few things so far that I wasn't aware of (such as the zones selections in the histogram in Silver Effex) even though I've been using these plugins for a few years now. I say definitely worth a look -- they go from setting up Nik effects in PS or LR to going through a few of the modules in a bit more detail.
