Thumbs up to DxO OpticsPro

I recently purchased OpticsPro 10 Elite (at a 50% discount) and I just learned that they rolled to Version 11. I logged into my account and was given a free upgrade to version 11

If you have version 10 or can find it discounted somewhere, may be worth checking into.

OP10 is my favorite RAW converter for sure. I'm going to wait a while before upgrading to 11, though... let other folks work out the kinks first.

Thinking of Retiring my $10 a month subscription as well since I recently tried, then bought DXO Optics Pro. I find that its easier to get the results I want in DXO. There are some tools I would miss if I gave up on my other package, mainly the dodging and Panorama tools.

(leaning towards keeping it though - because i can export to DXO - or Raw for final processing)

I bought DXO10 in December & didn't get an upgrade. I wouldn't buy it expecting to get an upgrade.

DxO offers a free upgrade to Optics Pro 11 if you bought OP 10 on or after 1 April 2016:
https://support.dxo.com/hc/en-us/articles/219935747-I-just-purchased-DxO-Opt...-OpticsPro-11-

The upgrade from v.10 to v.11 is worthwhile, but not as big as from v.8 to v.9 or v.9 to v.10.

DxO are gradually catching up with missing features (like redeye correction in this iteration), but also incrementally improving existing ones (e.g. processing with PRIME noise reduction is much faster in the latest version).

No doubt they will add stitching at some stage. What I do now is process the individual pano shots in OP, export them as TIFFs and stitch with Microsoft Image Composite Editor. ICE is excellent anyway.

The spot-weighted exposure compensation feature in v.11 is good, but designed mainly for people portraits. It doesn't recognise faces of the birds or animals I photograph, so I have to choose the spot manually.

waiting for full support of Pentax pixel-shift. Sadly, we may have to wait for a very long time as there appears to be no interest on their support forum for supporting pixel shift for any camera with the sole exception of their DxO One camera. SMH.
