PS Elements 11 & 14

My laptop came with PS Elements 11 and Premiere 11 pre-installed.

I have purchased Elements 14.

Can I install 14 and keep 11 on my machine, or does 14 need to first remove 11? If the latter, will I lose Premiere?

Thanks!

I have Elements 9 installed and when I upgraded to V11, I was left with two functioning versions. I kept V9 because it had a useful feature that was not included in V11. Both seem to coexist quite well. I can't advise with regards to Premiere though.

Different versions of Elements can co-exist on the same machine. No problem.

Which feature was that?

So, 14 does "take over" when installed. 11 is still functional, but only works if opened. Meaning that I have to open 11 and then open a file from within 11. Even after adding 11 back to the "open with" options, 14 takes over as editor.

Other than that, things seem to be playing nicely together.
