Hey guys! My ears were burning...

I've just watched that video all the way through, and I'm afraid he is a little off the mark there. In his defense, they're such popular myths, he's no doubt repeating what he's heard elsewhere. Some of the advice is good, but some will cause more trouble.

I've got an Lightroom performance series running on my blog at the moment and all of the information has been double checked with the engineers, who I work closely with on a daily basis, so you can be assured that the information's correct.

Link please?
I have not watched the video above, but have heard so many lightroom-speedup "tips" it's ridiculous. Most have no effect, although logically they probably should.
I'd love to read your take on this.

Yep, vrphoto's link will get you there. I assumed I wouldn't be able to post a link due to my low post count, but let me give it a try. Blog | The Lightroom Queen - Tips, Tutorials & Troubleshooting
