I realized the limitation of my i5 4590 when I started doing some video conversions and rendering in Blender. It's good for games, but for professional use, no dice.
My next build will be based on B350 and Ryzen 5 1600, 6 cores and 12 threads, what's not to like. It is on par with Intel processors which are way to expensive for my taste like i7 6800, not to mention motherboards for these.
So good we have some competition in the computer processor arena, Intel was doing annual 3-5% performance increments for the past 8 years, and charging arm and a leg, not to mention changing the processor socket for each new iteration (so you have to buy new MB every time).
