Luminar for Windows...Quick Looks

Luminar from Macphun just came out (beta,FREE!), so I DL it and its quite good, for what it is.
This is really beta, in that there is hardly no image manipulation tools like vignetting or blurring, but it does have very very nice preset filters that would take days to recreate with Adobe. It can import almost any format, including Pentax ptx and pef files. Layering is possible, but kind of slow stacking. This is more like to VSCO than any other product, so if you work with VSCO, you will at home with this one..have a try at it..Im getting to like it a lot..

Thanks for the reminder. I signed up for the beta a week ago but they failed to email me to tell me it was out! doh.

I'm not too impressed with the brightness, exposure, and contrast rendering right now. Lightroom does a much much much better job imo. I mentioned it in a feedback message to the dev team. And Luminar seems to be mushing the details in rock and brick. I can see what appears the same effect in your sample photo as mine of some brick columns.

Early beta though. It should improve with time.. I hope..
