LR update, May 2017 + GPU Acceleration issue.

I just got a notification last night that LR has been updated, I've never seen this little window pop up before. Usually CC updates PS and LR, I get no little popup window afterwards when launching either of those applications, so I thought this was noteworthy. Anyone else updated LR recently (it was automatic for me, not a manual update), and get a pop up window?

Lightroom version: CC 2015.10.1 [ 1117303 ]

I'm noticing after this update a significant improvement in loading times, importing, and just general interaction with the menu and develop mode, I would say it feels 50% faster and better optimized!

I got hopeful therefore and tried enabling my GPU Acceleration (as so far I have had to disable it), but sadly it is still performing vastly worse when on rather than off...

Graphics Processor Info:
GeForce GTX 960/PCIe/SSE2

Check OpenGL support: Passed
Vendor: NVIDIA Corporation
Version: 3.3.0 NVIDIA 382.05
Renderer: GeForce GTX 960/PCIe/SSE2
LanguageVersion: 3.30 NVIDIA via Cg compiler

As you can see it passes all the LR startup tests, and I have read the troubleshooter and confirm none of those issues are relevant. I have had adobe staff in the past take over my machine remotely and try several things (including launching LR in Admin mode etc), none of it made any difference and in the end they admitted defeat. Bizarre... my GPU is supposed to be supported.

Anyway, thought I'd mention the update

2015.10.1? That's the May release...

2015.12 was the release this month.

Lightroom CC 2015.12 now available

Interesting. I mean... this wasn't a manual update on my part, it just happened. I can see now that CC has another update ready... I'll change this thread title to reflect May's update.
