Where to put Nik collection?

Installing Nik collection gives me the option of Photoshop, Bridge or Lightroom. Which of those are the preferred?

I use it with photoshop, adds it in the filter section, each one you select adds another layer

I would have thought that it would install into all three simultaneously, at the very least both Lightroom and Photoshop.

When I had Photoshop CS6 and Mac OS 10.11, Nik Collection worked great as a plug-in. Now that I have PS CC 2017 and OS 10.12, it is no longer compatible as a plug-in, so I'm using it as a standalone. Much less convenient and disappointed that Google hasn't continued active support of the Nik collection.

If anyone knows of how to get it to work as a plug-in with my PS CC and Mac OS 10.12, please share!

Straight from their own web site: "The Nik Collection is free and compatible with Mac OS X 10.7 through 10.10; Windows Vista, 7, 8; and Adobe Photoshop through CC 2015. We have no plans to update the Collection or add new features over time."

Not sure about Bridge, although I think it might be available from there too, once installed it should be accessible through either LR or PS.
