The current version of DCU (5.8.6), from March 2020, is still not compatible with the Big Sur operating system on macs. Any image displays as some sort of chaotic mosaic. There does not seem to be any rush at Ricoh to fix issues.

Given the Big Sur the June 2020 announcement and release in November 2020, that would sort of make sense, eh? It appears that SilkyPix support for Big Sur is lagging as well with their first support with their standard product only released the end of February 2020.

Ricoh's December 2020 announcement regarding the issues...

Thank you for your continued support of our product.

Fujifilm's raw file converter, also "powered by Silkypix", is now Big Sur compatible (Rosetta 2), as of 1 April.

With any luck, an update to DCU won't be too far behind.
