Capture One wins Lightroom 2

I bought the issue 74 of the British Digital Photographer magazine, where there was a test of RAW processing software, or actually a head to head campaign between Adobe Lightroom 2 and Phase One's Capture One 4.

Lightroom won in ease of use, but Capture One was clear winner in quality of image results, and was the Editor's Choice - the winner.

What is your experiences with Capture One as Pentax users? And, BTW, what is the difference between Capture One Pro and Capture One 4?

Hey Georg,
I was using lightroom beta and liked it but didn't want to fork out $200 when it ran out and actually got capture one 3.6 or 3.7 with a sandisc card free and upgraded to CO v4 and really like it as a raw converter. I only use psp or a version of elements my son gave me if I have to clone out something. It did take them a long time to add the k100d super though (paint shop pro x2 never did add it)

PSPX2 'Ultimate' covers all Pentax RAW files, you do have to pay for the upgrade though
