best method for p.p noise reduction/removal

i have a k200d. i'm liking it alot, although it does have a lot more noise than a d90 i've been able to play with. i use adobe cs3 at the moment for my raw conversions and editing. is this the best program to use for noise reduction, or is the software on the cd better? is there a better prgram (cheap/free now, i ve spent all my money!) and lastly, and i think unlikely, do i just use the in camera settings?
thanks.

you can find free plug-ins for Photoshop... for example Shape-Adaptive Transforms Filtering | Pointwise SA-DCT algorithms

I use Noise Ninja for noise reduction in Aperture and also because the stand alone program does batch processing incase I took a bunch of low light shots and want to clean them all up in a quick manner. You can also load profiles based on the type of camera and ISO settings you used...comes in really handy...only downside is that it ain't free.

Just got Topaz Denoise.

It really is amazing and comes free if you buy Topaz Adjust.

I use Noiseware Community Edition (scroll a bit after clicking on the link). It's freeware, and I found it worked wonders on really noisy shots without nerfing details horribly.
