Adobe DNG Converter v12.2 install fails on Win 10

I downloaded the Adobe DNG Converter v12.2 from Adobe's download page today and was surprised to have the install apparently not complete on Windows 10. Is this a known problem?

My box did security updates a few days ago.

I just gave it a try, it installed fine. Maybe your virus program doesn't like it? Conflict with earlier version? Or you just need to reboot and try again maybe...

I also gave it a go. No problems at all. Works fine, I converted several PEFs , fast and simple.

Thanks for checking this out. This came to my attention due to a help request on Facebook and will give it another try with a reboot and McAfee turned off.

It appears that kernelbase.dll is not playing nice, either that or the recent version of the DNG converter has a bug.

Typical Adobe software engineering.

I've been trying to install the latest LR Classic update on a Win10 PC and the install has been dying with 41% or 43% downloaded about 5 times now.

Meanwhile I can download and install other big [non Adobe] apps no problem.

I didn't download until I read your thread today, and it was no trouble.
