If you know which files cause a problem, compare them with ones that do not. Do not only look at EXIF but also at Windows file information. Can also be that you try to save it to a folder of which access is blocked by Windows. So try to save them to another folder. Preferably on your laptop self and not on a network drive.
Just did some more tests...
I figure out that the problem would come out, if some certain DNG photos are edited by:
"Lens Aberration Correction > Color Fringe Correction"
Only this matters, all other changes is fine.
But the thing is ..... I wanna edit the photos taken by FA-31mm Limited, this Color Fringe issue is quite significant on FA-31mm.

Thanks for the suggestion, but this is not the case here.
Files got the problem and files got no problem are almost the same size, around 44-42MB.
Plus, I still can edit and save JPG from pixel-shift DNG taken by my K-1.

My goal is from DNG to JPG, so that I can share to my wife.
No resize, 36MP.
I did try with different JPG quality, from 1* to 4*.
No luck, PDCU still say "failed to process"
