Cancel Lightroom Sub but still use Library with Luminar?

I'm thinking of cancelling my Adobe Lightroom subscription because I'm enjoying using Luminar 4 for PP and I want to save some money.

I read that if you cancel your Lightroom sub, the Library module still works. So, I wondered about using Lightroom just for the Library/cataloguing function and using Luminar as a Lightroom plugin for editing.

That combination appeals to me. Has anyone else tried this successfully?

That is a very interesting question. See here: Impact of Canceling Lightroom Classic – Ask Tim Grey

It appears that Library/import/export/print will all work. It also appears that quick develop will continue to work. What is not spelled out anyplace I can find is if the "Edit in" function would work which would allow seamless editing in Luminar.

Curious if this would work as well.
