I've had issues with the phone not connecting via image sync if mobile data was active. The phone somehow couldn't figure out which network to use. Also picking the network from the imagesync interface doesn't work that well. Instead I

1. connect via the phone wireless interface
2. launch image sync.

When I turn on my camera the phone automatically connects now. So I then turn on image sync.

I tell my iPhone which WiFi to connect to.

Weird, for me it works pretty well, and since the last update it actually remembers the network when I'm outside so I don't have to retype the password every half a minute.

I still don't like that you need location data to connect, which is... eh
