Well done to anyone who comes up with a preset that is consistent across a wide range of shots. And don't be too hard on the creators of any presets that don't quite do it for your shots. I still haven't come up for air after spending the last four weeks tweaking our inhouse colour-adjustment presets to get consistent reproduction across four different press methods (offset print, screenprint, wide-format inkjet and sublimation). It's an absolute bloody nightmare ... the more images we test, the more inconsistencies show up, and its a case of revisiting Photoshop presets and tweaking one way, then the other, until you've nailed the one thing that is adversely affecting every image at printout. I'm still not at the "eureka" stage, but every step brings me closer, but only in smaller and smaller increments of progress!

It's like chasing a rainbow.

Great work, but does this work with the released Camera Profiles?

Thanks for sharing these presets !
I have ( may be a little dumb ) question, as I'm not a Lightroom user : can I use them some way in ACR 4.6 ? What works for me best as starting point of all I've tried yet are Adobe Standard Beta 2 or Camera Standard Beta 2 profiles you mentioned in your post. Sometimes I see the colors are a little off, so it would be nice to try to add your presets to these profiles somehow and see the difference. Hope it is possible.

Thanks, Jura

K10D-K20D Lightroom Presets 20081223

I have updated the two presets, first presented in this thread, to include the latest update to Lightroom (version 2.2). Just in time for those Holiday pictures.

You can get the latest versions by downloading:

Hi Jura,

These lightroom presets, although using the same color corrections as ACR, contain other coding that only works with the latest version of Adobe Lightroom.

Thank you!

Yes! Very Generous of you to share with us. will check out the new ones. I found that the first ones worked nicely in normal ranges of exposure. For the low key club and night shots I had to go with backing myself into developing a few presets depending on the situation.
Happy Holidays!

Do I still use Camera standard beta 2 with these presets, or with the new Camera Standard profile?

The revised presets use the new Camera Standard profile.
