Epson P800 Printing Problems

Hoping someone can help. I am getting extra lines on prints (like banding, but do not think it is banding). I have done nozzle cleaning (auto and manual) and alignments to no avail. Sample test print attached. Thanks.

As i see it, those lines are cyan, so try change cyan and cyan Light ink cartridges, one of them could be faulty.

That's very strange. I've never seen anything like that before. Have you contacted Epson? I don't see how a faulty cartridge could do that. Having said that, changing them could be worth a try...

Try walking through these steps:

It seems that a printhead alignment might be helpful.

I have seen that before on my Epson printer. Have you tried to delete the printer driver from your system and install a new one using the webinstaller from Epson? I guess you use original Epson cartridges?

That’s worth trying. I would try any suggestions before I took it to a service centre.

Once had a similar thing happen with the magenta, leaving stray horizontal lines across the image - not good news. It was a print head driver (printer hardware) going bad and it was far cheaper to buy a new printer than have it repaired. Still, if you find someone knowledgeable with Epson printers, it would be worth a query.
