Adobe Photoshop update.

If you are using Adobe CC, you will have had, or shortly will have, an update to Photoshop to version 24.0.0 and ACR to v 15.0

While most of your settings will be maintained, there is a little "gotcha" which always seems to happen when there is a major update like this one is.

Open a raw file in Photoshop and it opens in Camera Raw. At the bottom of the frame there is a link which tells you what your output settings are. if you were previously using 16 bit output, you may find it has changed back to the default 8 bit. Click the link and change your setting to 16 bit, then open the image. You should now be back to 16 bit for all subsequent uses in ACR.

They made a bunch of nice improvements for the AI Masking in Lightroom Classic and Adobe Camera Raw. The people selection is very nice. It sets up separate masks for almost everything on people like hair, face skin, body skin, pupils, eye whites, teeth and more. You can create presets to use them. I created a preset naming each mask. You can also just select an object or the background. You can also apply a masking with a preset, adjust the mask and then sync it to multiple images.
