EXIF data

Does anybody know of a program (or trick) that would allow me to take the SR setting focal length from the exif and use this as the main focal length? Automated would be preferable. I use a K100D, is this done automatically in newer models?

Thanks!

Also, I just started using Photome, and it appears that RAW images and images processed using PPL will show the lens info for A-series lenses (it must guess based on aperture and SR-setting), whereas photos processed using Camera Raw lack this info).
