elements problems

Has anyone else had runtime errors with photoshop elements 6? It's gotten so bad I cant even edit one photo..I called Customer support, they said it was gonna be 29 bucks to help me, or upgrade to seven and it would be free. I asked the guy why i would upgrade to seven when six performs so horribly?? He really didnt have anything else to say.. The problems I have happened on 2 different computers with 2 different operating systems. xp pro and vista.........was wondering if anyone here had any fixes, cause everything i've found on the internet hasn't helped....

I've been running Elements 6 on several different XP machines (one Pro, two Home) and have not gotten any errors. When you get one, is there any sort of error number or message shown? Do you get errors from any other programs beside Elements? How much do your machines push the limits (memory usage, free disk space, that sort of thing)?

A good place to ask for help would also be Elements Village - Powered by vBulletin - they seem like a pretty friendly bunch and answer lots of questions...

Good luck

Bummer. Unfortunately, that exhausts my stack of troubleshooting questions for it, eliminating the obvious issues.
