I've heard a lot about plugins for PS6, but I have no idea how to obtain them and use them. Are there free ones? My PS skill level is probably about a 2 out of 10, as I don't use it too much. But I'd love to learn and I'm hearing and reading alot about so many useful plugins. Any info would be great thanks!

Under Digital Photography they have "The Works" and "Fotomatic".

Most of those are freeware. Some of them are goofy, but under Fotomatic their "B&W Plus" is an excellent tool for doing black and white conversions. You can cycle quickly through different colored filters to mimic effects you would get on film.

To obtain them, simply click on the links and download. To use them, place them in your Plug-Ins folder in the PS Elements directory on your hard drive, you can make your own folder to keep things organized.

Then to use them, go into full edit mode and click on "Filters" and they should show up in the list somewhere.
