Any good upsampling primers out there?

Are there any good reference materials (threads or websites) for how to upsample digital images? I have never ventured into this area before, and know nothing of it. Any leads are appreciated. Thank you.

Try Genuine Fractals Print Pro (PS plugin).
As any other upsample procedure, it can't create data that is not there, but Print Pro manages to retain overall sharpness of the image.

Personally I have had very good success in Corel Photopaint as well using a "stepped" technique.
You will not go wrong buying Genuine fractals but I'd try my own ways first.
Good way to test is to uprez to your huge size, then crop a detail and print an 8x10 to see how you like it.... try to stick w/ uprezing in 16bit TIFF.........
Actually you can end w/ an image at less than 300dpi and print just fine........
A 10.4 x 22.6 inch image at 216dpi will give you a pretty decent billboard at 125 x 272 inches.......

Focus Magic might be worth a try. No primer needed, it just does it.
