I ran out of storage space for the presets on the Pentax Forums. I have provided links to download the latest of my Free Presets at:

Thanks so much for your incredibly quick response !

... downloading ...

EDIT : I installed your presets thanks to your easy-to-follow instructions... the only caveat was a difference in file names in the "one-step" preset (ie MOSD {AutoDevelop}.lrtemplate vs MOS01.01 CS-CE.lrtemplate)
Is this an issue ?

i tried that but where is the MOS01.01 CS-CE.lrtemplate located?
its not in the Mithrandir's Step-By-Step Process folder.. the files were
MSBS00.01 {Camera Calibration}.lrtemplate

and in the "one-step" preset it's not there either.
I found MOSD {AutoDevelop}.lrtemplate instead of the MOS01.01 CS-CE.lrtemplate

I renamed the presets for One-Step and Step-By-Step before I moved them to new servers. They are the latest however and are basically the same as the old posted presets. Latest Mithrandir's Lightroom Presets

Color issues with Mith's One-Step?

Hello all,

Has anyone else run into any color issues when using mith's one-step?

It is very odd... When I first apply the preset, my images look great, but once I've moved on to another image, if I click back on any other image that I've applied the preset to, they become very over saturated (primarily in the yellows). As the image preview is loading it looks like it should with Mith's preset applied, but then, at the last second of loading, bam, the colors go all crazy saturated.

Just wanted to see if anyone else has encountered anything like this.

Cheers,

Maynerd

Hi Maynard
1. Have you tried pulling down the saturation in Lightroom to see if the problem goes away?
2. Do you have a similar problem with the step-by-step preset?
3. Do you have the problem with both the K7 and K-x?

It's weird...

I've only tested on the K7, not the K-x.

I haven't tried the step by step since I first downloaded them, but I went back to an image that I played around with at the time and it seems to be ok, mind you that was with the K20 and the one-step looks good on those images, so maybe it is associated with the K7.

I kept an eye on the saturation (along with everything else) and it's not so much that the saturation itself gets bumped up, but there appears to be a shift in colour (heavily towards yellow), almost like the colour profile is being changed when I apply it.

The thing that is really puzzling me is that it looks great when I first apply it, but after clicking away from an image and then going back to it, BAM, that's when everything get thrown totally off.

One thought. Maybe its your installation of lightroom. I would suggest exporting one of the files (with oversaturated color) as a tif file. Open it in Irfanview or Paint.Net and see if it looks bad there.

Are those presets working in LR 4.x?

Great work! Thank you in advance!

Actually I did not try the presets yet(I'm not at home) and I'm wondering if they work in Ligtroom 4.x?
