Silly Q but I cannot figure out how to make Lightroom not convert my PEF to DNG

Help please...
I want to keep the PEF file instead.
Thanks

In the Import dialog the top pull-down gives you the option. You probably have "Copy phots as Digital Negative (DNG) and add to catalog" selected rather than "Copy/Move photos to new location and add to catalog".

When you import choose any of the choices except: COPY PHOTOS AS DIGITAL NEGATIVE (DNG) AND ADD TO CATALOG. That should solve the problem.
