Anyone know if Adobe will support K7 in CS 3?
It opens PEF files from my K200 but borks on files from my new K7.
Since I hope to sell my K200 to help pay for the K7, I'm hoping they do.
Mebbe I should just set it to DNG, but even PSP X2 opens K7 PEFs without a glitch.

Nope. Won't ever happen.
If you really want to shoot K7 PEFs and open them in Photoshop (and I have no idea why someone would want to), you need CS4.
You can download a free converter from Adobe that will convert your PEFs into DNGs, or you can just shoot DNGs.

I always felt Adobe had streak of evil in'em.
LR2 opens them just fine too. I'll just have to remember to switch to DNG for a pano or HDR.
I was gonna do a compare on the K7s HDR vs cs3.
I do plan to give this camera a workout, once the sun comes back out.
I figure....March or April.

Call it evil or just good business, it's working for the likes of Adobe.

Just switch to DNG for everything.
There are no advantages to shooting PEF files with the K7, and many advantages to shooting DNG, the major one being any Adobe Raw converter will open it.
