The latest version of Picasa can recover your pictures

I just discovered that the newest version of Picasa can recover your lost photographs off your sound card.

So I thought that I'd share the info

Oh, if you haven't used it lately you might want to check for updates.
And I haven't discovered anything else new on it yet.

Sounds amazing. Perhaps it can reduce noise too!

Musical photos! I wonder if PS can handle them?

Probably will not work on my PC though - I don't have a sound card, the audio chips are on the motherboard....

Hi Stu,
I have been using Picasa for about two years now and have never payed attention to the updates. This sounds like a nice update. Where can I find the information on it, and find out how to use it if I need it. I haven't seen it in the dropdowns.

Mine just updated on it's own this time David, although with the older versions I had to just download it and re-install it.

I don't think that they've updated the web site though

This is a joke, right?? If true, it would defy all laws of physics and be the result of divine intervention.

Great!

This is great news! Does it work for cassettes and 8-tracks too?
