Yet another CS4 question - Brushes

I have found some interesting brushes online and want to download them to CS4 (extended). I have downloaded some in the past but saved them to my desktop.

But now I want to organize them in a better way. Can I just go into Adobe on my C drive and create a folder named "Downloaded Brushes" or something like that and save them there? Or would creating a new folder cause problems when I try to run CS4?

Thanks for any advise you can offer.

These are generally located in the Presets\Brushes folder, so moving them there would be most native to PSCS4.

Thank you rormeister.

I looked everywhere before posting my question and could not find where the brushes were. Or I thought I had looked everywhere.

So when saving a brush or a shape I can put them right in that folder?

Bring up the Brush window: click window then brush.
Click the little icon in the corner below the X
Click Load brushes and direct yourself to the file you want to load.
I keep this stuff in a folder in My Documents and just load from there.
This way if I need to reload it for some reason, I know where it is.
