I bought this lens a couple months ago from ebay, and haven't even taken 100 shots with it yet. It is in perfect working condition.

The lens itself is in good condition, not great.
-There is some dust inside the lens which can be seen with the naked eye, but it DOES NOT affect IQ from what I can tell based off of my images.

-On the exterior there are a couple VERY light scuff marks on the aperture ring.

-There are two small dents and scratches on the built in, pull out hood. They do not inhibit the hood from pulling out and functioning. Like I said they are small.

-The focus ring is nice and smooth.

-Aperture ring works as it should
