Sigma EX DG 15-30mm AF [IF] f3.5-4.5 lens for sale (possible trade) it is in excellent shape with original lens caps and band that fits on built in petal shade. Price includes shipping in U.S. but additional charges may apply to international destinations at my discretion. Even though this is an af lens, mf is easy to use. That is one advantage of its size. Even though its on the large side, its balanced well.

What an interesting lens. I didn't know such a thing even existed - this is FF right? Unfortunately I just bought the Siggy 18-50mm EX f2.8 macro so I'm not in the market, otherwise I would have been very interested. Best of luck on the sale mate!

Yes it is FF although it was optimized for digital. Thanks!

That's a good question. Its designed very similar to its brother the 20-40mm f2.8 except for that. It serves to hold the pinch style lens cap. It comes off to expose the petal shaped built in hood which is apparently optimized for the wider end. Supposedly the band give more of a shade for the longer end. However, I never had a problem leaving it on even at 15mm.

If Pentax ever goes FF - and I think they will - this lens will be a very nice thing to own

The lens is sold and will be making its way to Ireland. Thanks to those that inquired about the lens and there patience.
