[SOLD] Pentax K10D kit, many accessories (US/UK/CAN/AUS)

PentaxForums.com Marketplace Listing

Item for Sale
Pentax K10d kit, many accessories

Asking Price
450

Item Location
Greenfield Center, NY

Item Description
$450 for the Camera with kit 18-55 zoom, D-BG2 grip, wireless remote and a 2 gb Lexar Professional sd card (133x write speed).

If you want more gear, I would also include for free a 50mm f2 KA lens (manual focus, possibly has a little fungus which is why it's free. never had a problem with flare or with sharpness with this lens though), a 135mm f2.8 Sears lens km (manual focus), a 2x teleconverter (manual focus km), a tamron 28-80mm f3.5-5.6 AF lens, and a 70-210 f3.5 Tamron adaptall lens. I ask for this equipment that you either use it for yourself or give it to a student. This is not for resale, but for pass it forward. If you don't want it, this will be up for free after the K10d sells.

For $85 more, I'd also include a KA adaptall mount, which would let you use the Tamron adaptall lens in all of the different program modes and would get you matrix metering. All of the km lenses are usable with centerweighted metering or spot metering in manual mode only. I've also found that the metering isn't as accurate with the KM lenses as they are with the KA or AF lenses. The KA adaptall mounts usually go for about $100-140 on ebay. I also have a KM adaptall mount for $20.

Except for the 50mm, all of the equipment is in excellent + condition. I'd also say that the adaptall KA mount is a little worn looking, but functions perfectly. I've got the original boxes and things for the pentax k10d, battery grip and lens as well as the manual for the k10d. Just found the video cable and the software CD today as well. The camera only has about 12,000 actuations, with a rating for over 150,000. If you want I can get you the exact number. There is a slight wear mark on the hotshoe, small however.

So if you want the kit of everything (Pentax Kit, KA Mount, KM mount)- $550

I'm selling because I've got too many cameras. Also willing to trade for a Leica M2 or M3 body with m to screw mount adapter, pentax screwmount gear, nikon (including rangefinder) gear, leica screwmount gear or a handheld meter. If you've got music gear for guitars or saxophones, I'd consider that as well. Price is always negotiable. I've sold on here once or twice before, but am a regular contributor over at Popphoto.com as mudman and post at Fredmiranda forums
as awasos23.

Cheers,
Eric

Just checked, and the camera has 11,822 shots judging by the current file number. If anyone knows an easier/better way to check actuations on Pentax cameras, I'd love to know.

Cheers,
Eric

I think the free photme software provides a seemingly unending list of exif and metadata info, including shutter count.

It is just too much (meaningless) info for me, and I've only used it once or twice, but it comes up in conversation here frequently.

12,000 actuations is as close as I'm going to get I think. Photome won't work on my mac. Thanks for the info SpecialK.

If nobody wants the "freebies" my school's photo program could probably use them.

They can go once the camera is sold. That sounds like a great use to me. I'll also have a contax 139Q with adapters for the Tamron Lenses available to send with it. I've had a lot of interest, but no takers so far. If you want it, make an offer - whether its just the body and grip or the whole kit and kaboodle. Just bought a Leica M3, need some money to go back into my bank account.

Bump. I think $330 for body and lens with original manuals, box, CD and video cable is a good price no? Any lower and I may as well sell to KEH or put it on Ebay. I'd probably get more on Ebay.
