[SOLD] COLLECTORS: SUPER-RARE Takumar: 100mm f3.5 preset (1957) (Worldwide)

Item for Sale
COLLECTORS: SUPER-RARE Takumar: 100mm f3.5 preset (1957)

Asking Price
$650 (U.S.)

Item Location
Kearney, Nebraska USA

Item Description
One of the rarest of all Pentax Takumars, apparently made only briefly in 1957.

Mine looks in much better condition than the one in the BOOK (see below). Whatever the blue on the black lens exterior is, it comes off pretty easily. I prefer to the let the new owner finish the job to their satisfaction. Optics are GORGEOUS. Comes with original case and rear cap along with a nice screw-in (replacement) lens cap that complements the lens nicely.

Size comparison with the 135mm f3.5 Super Tak.

Oh no! You actually *took pictures with it,* mounted on a camera!
There goes the collector's value...

Nice.

The "blue" (actually green) stuff on the lens is shed from inside of case; I've seen much worse. Actually quite easy to clean in my experience; blower & microfiber cloth worked for me. Suggest shipping with lens in baggie inside case.
