I've been debating on whether to buy one of these adapters or not, and if it comes with the 58mm adapter, I'll take it as I am curious how it works.

Thanks

You don't need an adapter, the adapter is built in. It works with any lens filter size up to 67mm. Item description, (52 to 67mm with included Snap-on universal mount). I used it with my Sigma 70-300mm filter size is 58mm.

These are really neat! I bought one for my fiancee as she told me should would dig my grave if I bought her a macro lens as she's still getting into photography (slowly but surely) and she didn't want a dedicated lens. I've seen some samples taken with the DA 55-300 and the images just look beautiful. I'm sure you'll like it pcarfan!

I would really like to know how they perform on a dedicated Macro lens. Looks like Raynox is making some nice macro adaptors.
