Item Description
Sadly, I'm selling all of my Pentax gear. I originally bought the K-7 and a full set of DA Limited primes, as my "P&S"/travel system, to complement my heavier and bulkier D700 and pro-glass. The K-7 has been a joy to use. I have enjoyed my Pentax experience very much - especially the K-7's portability, ease-of-use, build-quality, and high quality images from literally ALL the lenses I've put on it.
However, I recently came across a deal on a D300s I could not pass up. The ability to consolidate back to one system, and share my Nikon lenses, flash equipment, and other accessories between both cameras is too much to pass up. Also, the controls on the D300s and D700 are nearly identical, leading to less confusion when switching between bodies.
So, here is what is for sale:
* Pentax K-7 - about 3-4K shots, looks and works perfectly. No issues to report. US version product, I originally bought the kit from Adorama back in January. Sold the 18-55 off immediately. Complete in original box with everything when new (except the 18-55, of course). I'm also including an extra battery (for a total of 2).
Price: $SOLD
* Pentax DA 35 F2.8 Macro - Also, looks and works perfectly. About 3 months old. I bought this to replace my DA40. (They are both excellent lenses by the way). Complete in original box with everything when new (Caps, pouch, manual, etc.).
Price: $SOLD
* Tamron 17-50 F2.8 - Also, looks and works perfectly. I've only used this about 2 months, after I sold my DA primes. I was especially happy with this lens in the limited time I used it. Small, light, and a great image quality. No SDM issues to worry about either. Complete in original box. (Caps, hood, etc.).
A bargain, IMHO at: $SOLD.
* Tamron 18-250 - Probably my most used lens, but still in near new condition. I originally bought this for video usage, however, the image quality was surprisingly good across nearly the whole range. For my casual and travel needs, the convenience, size, and value of this lens was perfect. I may have to find another one in a Nikon mount. Complete in original box. (Caps, hood, etc.).
Price: $350 (Reduced)
* Metz 48-AF1 - Only about 2 months old. I bought this to replace it's bigger brother the 54m-zi. It totally P-TTL compatible, even when triggered by the K-7's on-board flash, and has a head that can swivel and tilt - unlike the AF360. This is a much better flash, IMHO. Complete in original box with everything when new.
