I bought this lens with an UG designation from KEH a while back for roughly what I'm asking for it now, and that was without any caps. It is in really nice shape. Based purely on outward appearance I would rate it as excellent. It took three weeks of staring at the lens before I figured why they rated it UG: The rear element seems to be delaminating. I cannot find any evidence of it in the few photos I have taken with this lens, but maybe I'm blind? It is obvious if you look at the rear element while holding the lens the right way to the light. I have no way of predicting if if it will get worse or stay the same. It doesn't bother me a bit - I'm only selling the lens because I don't like the pancake aspect as much as I thought I would.
I have included a photo of the lens mounted to the front of my P3n, as well as two 100% shots taken through the lens. one is from the center of the frame, one is from the corner. Unfortunately I took them at ISO 1600 on my K10d, so there not wonderful, but they are probably better than nothing. Keep in mind that both shots were taken at f2.8, not exactly the M 40's strong point.
I might be able to get the lens into a small flat rate box if you want save five-ish dollars on shipping. For international shipping drop me a PM and I will get you a quote just as soon as I can.
Edit: I forgot to add that I am including Pentax branded caps for this lens, both front and rear.
