I have reluctantly decided to sell my trusty K10D to help fund a new yet-to-be-decided full frame DSLR purchase.

I bought this camera new in the spring of 2007 and it has served me extremely well. It has been around the World with me several times and has never missed a beat. I have used it daily for work and fun so it shows some light signs of normal wear. I take care of my gear. I'm thinking it has around 30K shutter actuations. It is very difficult for me to part with it but it's time to move on...

This is an excellent camera for a beginner, as a back-up or even for heavy everyday use. If you are unfamiliar with the K10D read the DPR review of it here. It was the thing that convinced me to go with Pentax over Canikon and I have never regretted doing so.

I will accept PayPal and will ship via standard ground service anywhere in the continental US at my expense.

Thanks guys! Somebody make me an offer. I'd much prefer to sell this to a true Pentaxian here than have to put it on eBay.

BTW, this would make an awesome starter kit for a budding junior photographer. I'm still a couple of years away from my eldest being ready or else I'd be handing it down to her.

I think maybe a few of us are suffering from the economy.Mainly I suffer from a lack of income otherwise I would get this camera as a backup for my own K10D.
Great pictures by the way. I am trying to get lightening pictures but alas no storms.

Yes, and I realize I'm probably trying to sell to the wrong crowd. Most folks here already have a Pentax camera :-)
