K20d

Hi Peter, I have two K20D's that I only rarely use now. How do I check the Shutter Count? If you can advise I will be able to tell you what usage they have had.

Kerrick, You simply download PhotoMe (freeware) and use the last shot (Jpeg) that came out of the camera. Or simply send me an email ptz1961(at)hotmail(dot)com with a photo. I can do it there.

I didn't have a chance to update the thread. One other has sent me a PM. He's gone to work now and I won't know what's going on till tonight. You might want to wait till I get back to you on his offer.

Are you looking for any extra's such as grip batteries focusing screen etc?
I have two K20's and I might put one up in preperation for a new body but it has a Katzeye, grip, screen protectors and a few other doodad's on it.

Other than that it would be mint, low shutter count and most likely worth around 800'ish.

PS. it's already in Canada btw.

Hi Peter, I downloaded PhotoMe, but being on a Mac the program wouldn't open as anything but a Textedit file. There must be a better way to simply check the shutter count. I did check the meta data in CS5 but couldn't find the count. Ideas?

Thanks, Kerrick

There's a simpler solution, Try this: Check shutter count online - My Shutter Count.com

But I just got an offer I'm going to take. The deal isn't finished but consider this as Aquired unless the deal falls through.

Thanks for the efforts.

If it doesn't work out Peter let me know. I'm looking to sell my K20D + Grip. I don't use it enough to warrant keeping it. Shutter count ~ 8500.
