Item Description
Hi all.....

Thought I'd see if anyone out there is interested in this lens.......
This is the Tamron 180mm F2.5 Anniversary Lens... only 3,000 were made... and at the time, this was considered a real work of engineering..NOTE: This lens is ready to rock and roll.... the pka mount is included !
(here's our own info...PentaxForums.com Third-Party Lens Review Database - Tamron 180mm f2.5 SP IF Adaptall 2 63B Lens Reviews)
I purchased this lens from B&H photo in N.Y., N.Y. earlier this year...
they had it rated as 8+...... Please take a look at the pictures of the lens itself, and some pics recently taken by me..)
This lens comes with the Tamron PKA adapter...(worth about 75-100) and it works just as it should....also comes with the lens hood, front and rear caps, and the nifty leather tamron bag....fancy !!
Please note that near the rear element(s), there is a 'thing', very small, which a bit of dirt or dust, but not fungus...... does not interfere with picture quality whatsoever.......There is a wee bit of internal dust... but very little indeed.

Please send me a 'pm' if seriously interested....
Regards and thanks for lookin' this classic over.... Dave M.

Anybody wondering should know that this lens is an absolute classic - possibly the sharpest that Tamron ever made, and a lens that can still give the 200mm DA* a run for its money. Build quality is superb and images have a depth of colour and contrast that marks the lens out from the average.

I just missed out on a chance to buy one of these gems new about 25 years ago. I recall it was a beautifully made lens and felt wonderful on my old Pentax MX. I later got a K 200/2.5 which has become my all time favourite manual focus lens. Someone is going to get a great MF optic here. If I didn't already have the K 200/2.5 I'd be all over this one.
