If no-one wants this, I'll be posting it on eBay (Australia) on 3 Sept.

Included for AUD$220 (plus postage):

Sigma 18-125mm 1:3.5-5.6 DC
Front & rear lens cap
Hood
62mm UV Hoya Filter (retail AUD$30)

Postage for Australia $6
Will post worldwide

The lens is AS NEW (purchased Nov2006) & made specifically for DSLRs. Done about 500 clicks and the rest of the time it's been stored in my camera bag. UV Filter put on the lens immediately after purchase.

Selling because I've just bought a prime lens and won't be using this anymore. I mainly do nature photography or people/kids running around and need really fast low light performance.

It's a great value, compact, lightweight "walkabout" lens for those days when you don't want to carry everything. The lens performs really well in good light, but a bit dark when light is very poor (can be fixed PP or exposure compensation +0.3). I'm happy to post examples if you wish.

All specs: Sigma 18-125mm F3.5-5.6 DC

How is the vignetting @ 18mm on this lens compared to the poor performance of the Pentax Kit lens at this focal length?
I am looking for a replacement to the kit lens, and am not ready to pull the trigger on the new *16-50, or the 16-45.

Photos with the lens

It's better to show you - I've never noticed a problem, but I'm also very new to digital. There is no PP in all of these. The first two are taken at 18mm. The second one is at a party with lower light (not at 18mm).

Postage to the USA is:

Airmail AUD$15.00, insurance AUD$10 (optional) (4-6 working days) (total AUD$245).
International Australia Post courier is AUD$50 (2-5 working days) (total AUD$270).

I can accept PayPal for an international buyer, but require the funds to be transferred in Australia dollars (saves about $10 in PayPal fees).

Thanks for looking.
