Pentax DA 18-55mm 1:3.5-5.6 AL kit lens: $45 + $5 shipping CONUS coming off of my K-x kit. Never used it, so it's practically new.

I may be contacting you in a couple of days. I'm looking at two different cameras. A K2000 without a lense and a KX with. I'm leaning to the K2000 right now. The combo would be a little cheaper and I can afford to pick up a quality strobe.

I hope to pull the deal together within a couple of days.

I've got to sell my Kimber first, so I can fianance it.

Is this the AL or ALII? I'd kinda assume the II if it came from a KX, but I thought I should check.

Here's what it says at the front of the lens:
SMC Pentax-DA L 1:3.5-5.6 18-55mm AL

So I guess this is the AL version, not the AL II. the AL II is all metal and has a hood, I believe. This one is the plastic version, no hood

It looks like it is the DA L version, which I believe is optically the same as an AL II, but without a hood or quick-shift. Someone please correct me if I am wrong
