[SOLD] Leica 60mm Macro-Elmarit, converted to K-mount (Worldwide)

PentaxForums.com Marketplace Listing

Item for Sale
Leica 60mm Macro-Elmarit, converted to K-mount

Asking Price
$400 US + shipping

Item Location
Toronto, ON, Canada

Item Description
Here is a Leica 60mm Macro Elmarit, permanently converted to K-mount.

I purchased the lens from Adorama, where it was rated EX+ condition. My conversion was done by a friend, not using a kit. So it's not as clean as the Leitax conversion (see the pics of the mount), but it has the added benefit that infinity is perfect (the Leitax mounts allow focusing slightly past infinity). The downside is, the ball bearing wouldn't fit back in the new mount, and so the aperture is currently stepless. Not necessarily a bad thing, but I tend to find it at f/22 when I pull it out of the camera bag!

It is a 1:2 macro, and can be used in Av mode with no issues.

Glass has no marks, haze, scratches or fungus. I see some fine dust, but nothing that should affect the image. There is some brassing and a ding on the end of the barrel that can be seen in the first photo. The front element is so far recessed that the barrel is pretty much a hood. I've sourced the original front cap, and I'm including a Pentax rear cap. Nice Leitz case too!

I'm really enjoying the Pentax 100 WR and haven't used the Leica much, and having just purchased a Voigtlander 180 I've decided to let it go.

I'm looking for $400 US + shipping, which would be $25 throughout Canada and the US, Express with insurance.

I will ship worldwide, but since Paypal cannot verify addresses outside of North America, I would need the buyer to have some feedback here. Worldwide shipping would be $25 for international parcel Air, which should be less than two weeks, but has no tracking and only allows coverage up to $100 (so that's what I'd declare it as). Shipping with insurance would be $70 worldwide, and would take approximately 4-6 business days, they tell me.

Beautiful lens. I think there might be an adapter for it to reach 1:1.

Thanks! There is, but now it's all Pentax mount, so K-mount extension tubes will do the trick too. (otherwise, you'd have to adapt both ends of an extension tube! )
