Beastly 500/4.5. Big, heavy, etc. m42.

The interior lid of the case is made of an old foam material, and the foam is degrading into a snowy powder, so I've wrapped the interior lid in saran wrap to keep the foam sequestered.

The lens had fungus on an interior element. I paid the pentax repair facility to have it fixed. They did a good job, it looks really good now. I include a bag of dehumidifier pellets in a ziploc.

There are some scratches on the barrel, see photos. The optics look appropriately clean—meaning that this is an old lens with acres of glass and some dust is going to settle.

The last inch of the barrel is a mini bayonet so you can attach the stub to your camera and then put the camera on the lens. Imagine screwdriving this without the bayonet! The bayonet has a spot for an interior filter, I believe it takes 49mm filters.

I've priced this in consideration of the general wear and fungal history. This weighs a bit more than mucho but not quite mega. Shipping will probably take a week. Local buyers can omit shipping.
