[SOLD] Unopened DA* 50-135 for sale

I am in the weird position of owning two DA* 50-135 lenses. I preordered one through Adorama back in April, and then bought one from B&H when they had them in stock a few weekends ago. I immediately received the one from B&H and opened and used it. It is a wonderful lens, my best zoom by far (and I own 8 in the K-mount). I recently shot a wedding with it, it is phenomenally better at accurate exposure than any of my lenses (including the primes). Sharpness is apparent even at f2.8 and from f4 and up, it is a razor.

Then last week, my preorder from Adorama just showed up at my door. I should have canceled the order, but actually forgot about since I've been so busy. The lens is still in the brown UPS box completely unopened from Adorama's warehouse. It was shipped 2-Day Air - less bumps on Air shipping.

So, I am looking to sell the brand new one at my cost. I paid $850 from Adorama. So with shipping to anywhere in the US, it would still be under $900, which is a good deal since it looks like they will now be offered at $1000 - if you can find one

Please let me know if you have any questions. I am in Tucson, Arizona.

Yes, the Bigma... I have this beast. And though it makes it into most of my backpack trips, it rarely shows its immense head, unless I'm shooting a tennis match. Alas, my Tammy 18-250 is such a more usable range and about 400 pounds lighter

We think alike ... I also have the Tamron 18-250 and I do love the lens .... We'll see how usefull the Bigma is ..... I have a couple of trips planned and wanted it for that - if I don't find it very usefull after that - well it will be time to cut my losses - as they say it is better to have Bigma'ed and lost then to never have Bigma'ed at all

The power of 14X

The 18-250 makes the K10 the worlds best P&S

I just spent a 3 day weekend shooting over 800 shots with just this lens even though I brought my entire setup (10 lenses)
