For sale is a not quite perfect K28/3.5. Cosmetically the lens is in excellent shape. The glass is in great shape with only a very small mark in the coating near the edge of the front element. It has no impact on IQ. The focus is very smooth and the aperture clicks into place very well. There doesn't appear to be any oil on the blades. However, the aperture is slow and as a result at stopped down apertures values below f/5.6-8 the blades don't usually open quickly enough to properly expose the image (at slow shutter speeds they do, but at moderate to high shutter speeds they don't fully close down in time).

To function properly, this lens needs either a CLA or someone who knows how to take it apart and clean the blades themselves. My understanding is that a CLA for a lens like this should run about $40. This lens usually sells for about $125 (if functioning properly). I am looking to get $50 given it's current issue with the aperture.

Probably best 28mm Pentax ever made. But already have it. Sharp, sharp, sharp. Great landscape lens.
