Item Description
The FA 20/2.8 is tough to find. This one's been well used--you can see some scuffs on the body and the plastic window over the serial number is peeling, but overall the body's in very good shape.

The build is typical FA, good, but not overly tight. The filter ring is intact and made of thick metal, which is really nice. Looks great on the camera! It's also surprisingly small. Comes with both caps.

The good news is the glass shows no marks or scratches or fungus whatsoever and the IQ is fantastic. I haven't had it long, but I usually used it stopped down to f/6.3 and it's sharp, smooth and even across the frame and has excellent colour and contrast. Focus is smooth, aperture is snappy and free of oil or defect.

Shipping is via Canada Post ExpressPost with full insurance. Items will therefore be declared on the customs strip at full value (or there wouldn't be any point in insuring them, eh?), but I can mark it as a gift if that helps. Taxes have already been paid on this stuff, so why pay more?

I think this has the same innards as my A20/2.8, which means the image quality, contrast, colors and flare resistance are superb. It's also the fastest under 24mm non-fish eye that I know of and it's pretty sharp wide open. I chose this over the Voigtlander 20mm because of the one stop difference, which can mean a lot when using it indoor.

Hard to find is an understatement. Odd that I found an FA28 and FA20 in the same week. Too bad I can't splurge on either right now. Good luck with the sale!

Yeah, I saw that FA28 this week too, but the FA20 is my most wanted of any lens to add to my array...just cant pull the trigger for anything until December.
