Item Description
Sigma 24-70 f/2.8 EX DG lens (not HSM).

Includes lens, hood, Tiffen 82mm Haze-1 filter and Sigma front and rear caps.

Lens is in great shape optically and mechanically. Cosmetically, lens is fine. Front cap is a little scuffed up. Lens hood has some trivial marks as well.

Good sharpness, excellent contrast and colors.

I've got two minor quibbles with the handling:
The zoom ring is pretty small in comparison to the focusing ring and set pretty far to the rear of the lens, towards the camera. I tend to grab the focus ring when intending to zoom.
There's some stiffness when zooming from it's widest angle. Like the Pentax 16-45, this lens extends at the wide angle, so zooming in requires reeling in some serious glass, especially with an 82mm filter mounted.

All in all, a very nice, fast lens, sharp with excellent color rendition. The lens weighs over 1 1/2 lbs, so it's no pancake :-)
