Excellent+ with the golden quality control sticker. Almost no loss of paint. Extremely minor loss of paint on the aperture ring. Some minuscule dust inside. No fog or fungus that I can see. BUT the lens is used.

This is indeed the famed Macro lens and goes all the way to 1:1. Yes. The rumor is true. This is a great macro lens. You can check out the review.

WAY tooo many Macro lenses and too many lenses at this focal length. So I would like to trade this one. It is optically the same as the Vivitar Series 1 105mm Macro or the Lester A. Dine 105mm Macro, since at one time I owned both of them and made a comparison. Even the coating color is the same.

It has the "A" setting and allows automatic aperture. It is a fully manual focus (MF) lens. Come with front cap (Vivitar brand with minor bruises) and rear generic caps. Open for sale now. But still available for trade

The following lenses are what I have in mind (details to be negotiated).
1. Samyang 85mm f1.4 or a variant.
2. DA70 or FA77
3. Interesting K lenses (I do not need the following: 24/2.8, 24/3.5, 28/3.5, 35/2, 35/3.5, 50/1.4, 50/1.2, 55/1.8, 85/1.8, 135/3.5, 135/2.5, 200/4, or 200/2.5).
4. K10D body in good condition with relevant accessories.
5. DA14.

I sold the Series 1 105 macro long time ago. Here is the Vivitar 100mm Macro which is on the left of the comparison. Will send some shots from the lens soon.

This is a well known lens. Everything is comparable to the Pentax offering if not more. Built like a tank.

I think your lens isn't quite in the same ballpark as the one the OP is offering, but I guess that's for him to judge.

Yes, this is optically the same lens as the Vivitar Series 1 105mm and the Lester Dine 105mm lenses.
I owned all at one point of another and the quality of the pics are the same.
