Fantastically sharp fast telephoto zoom lens. It's sharp even at F2.8 and just gets better as you stop it down. Check out the test results at dpreview. (Interestingly, the only real negative in that review is about the built-in motor on the Canon version. In the Pentax version, the lens simply uses the screw-drive motor in the camera body, which has been fast and accurate on my K10D.) I had a chance to compare this lens side-by-side to Pentax's 60-250mm F4, and the Tamron beat it hands-down in every area. It's a whole stop faster, it's sharper at F4, and focus (while a little louder) was faster and more accurate in any lighting.

This lens is practically new (only a few months old) and includes everything you'd get buying it new - front and rear caps, hood, removable tripod collar, padded case, original box and papers.

I am the original owner of this particular lens and I baby all my gear. Optics are clean and clear, mechanicals and electronics all work perfectly. Selling because I got a nice bonus at work and splurged on a full-frame Nikon DSLR. (I'm also selling my other lenses - see my other listings. The 1.7x teleconverter works great with this lens.)
