[SOLD] Sigma 10-20mm 3.5 EX HSM (Worldwide)

PentaxForums.com Marketplace Listing

Item for Sale
Sigma 10-20 3.5 EX HSM REDUCED!

Asking Price
$575.00 including PayPal, shipping in CONUS, and an $80 filter.

Item Location
Tennessee

Item Description
This is a barely used, flawless copy of this premier wide-angle lens. I don't use it as much as I thought I would and can't justify keeping it. This is the newer, faster, and silent-focusing version. Includes all original accessories/papers/box plus a Kenko "Zeta" UV filter (wide version, but has front threads) that is also in perfect condition, an $80 filter, if you can find one. Lens was purchased new only about 5 months ago so has over 3.5 years of warranty left. Copy of receipt plus blank warranty card included. Lens alone sells for $650 at B&H and this one looks and performs just like what you would get from them, if you get a good copy! For potential foreign buyers; I will not falsify customs documents, so please, don't ask!

Vaards,

Seems like:

1. Public comments on pricing are not allowed in the Marketplace, read here:
https://www.pentaxforums.com/forums/photographic-equipment-sale/137-read-firs...equipment.html

It's suggested that you retract your post before the Moderators get on you.

2. Seller's item is the f/3.5 version, not the f/4-5.6 version in your comment.

Is this lens usable on a Pentax camera without the SDM contacts, such as the *ist series or K100D?

Any idea if I can use this on a PZ-1? Will it cover the full frame? Will it auto focus? (There are the power zoom contacts, but I am thinking the camera will not know what to do)

I'm afraid not. It's a "DC" lens, which is Sigma speak for cropped sensor. AF wouldn't work either. Sorry.

Hi Doglover,

I assume this is the Pentax K-mount version--just want to make absolutely sure. Have been thinking about the new Sigma 8-16, but perhaps this is the way to go
Best,

JVA

Do you have any sample images you've taken with the lens?
