Wow, the FA 135 is a stellar lens and very hard to find--I'm sure somebody would be happy to trade you!

Can't seem to edit my original post!

Agreed it is a fantastic lens, just not quite the right length for me.

VG used condition, slight amount of dust (normal), body in VGC. Comes with generic 52mm metal hood.

Just so there is full disclosure, there is a very small mark (<1mm) on the rear element which could be fungus. However, there is absolutely no signs of loss of sharpness (you are welcome to any test photos from the lens, or further requests of the lens itself).

Just a bit too long for me on APS-C! See my Flickr gallery for shots with it: SMC Pentax-FA 135mm f/2.8 - a set on Flickr

Based near Guildford, UK.

Actual lens:

For those conncerned about the fungus, I completely understand.

All I can say is if it hadn't been pointed out to me, I wouldn't have noticed.

It is so small I have found it impossible to photograph from the rear.

From the front, I have managed to snap the blow image. Just be aware that t is massively magnified by the lens! I genuinely believe it is less the 0.5mm (yep half a millimetre) in size in reality.

Uploaded with ImageShack.us

Full size image - about 1 o'clock.

I hope this puts people's mind at ease. I can supply 100% crops of any test photos on request!

Comes with generic 52mm metal hood.
Also, there is a built-in metal hood/shade on the F and FA 135/2.8 lens, it pulls out and retracts, like the 15/4 DA Ltd.

Correct.

I bought a screw-in hood for two reasons:

- The built-in hood is not optimal for the FOV on APSC

- I like the hood as a bit of bump protection - the built in hood just slides back in if you knock it!

truly a magnificent lens.
I can understand why it generated a lot of interests.

for the sake of plugin, this is what the FA135 can do in comparison with other 135mm lenses.

the resolution and colors are absolutely brilliant. winning buyer would be extremely happy.
