Second sentence. Was looking at one of these to add to my bag collection as ofetn carry two bags to work - one for camer and kit (Slingshot) and a Computer laptop back pack that fits body and lens only in a generic Rezo style case but not very well - any user comment Mike?

Hello.

The backpack is primarily black with gray trim. As far my user experience, it was mostly positive. It's well built, quality construction, lots of little internal pockets for doodads, and suprisingly lightweight given its size. I bought it for travel/walking around.

The bottom section can hold the K10D with a moderate sized lens attached (largest would be something along the lines of a Sigma 10-20, as well as 3-4 additional lenses, depending on the size of the lenses. Generally, it was tough squeezing in fatter lenses (large diameter) alongside the camera. For instance, the Tamron 17-35 was about the maximum diameter lens (77mm filter size) I could manage to squeeze in alongside the camera. Lenses the size of the kit lens, DFA 100 macro, or the FA Limiteds were not a problem. Longer tele zooms would be out of the question unless you place them in the upper compartment which is not well padded like the bottom.

My biggest gripe (and reason for selling) is I really need something with side pockets for water bottles that can be easily accessed. This backpack has little pockets on the side that LOOK like they'd accomodate bottles but they are way too snug.

Great all around backpack as long as you are not a constant water drinker like me!
